About

When I was traveling Prague, Czech Republic I discovered the most amazing pastry cooked over a spit fire on a dowel. This is a common pastry sold in Prague although it is originally from Hungary. I stopped at the street vendor in Prague every day after sightseeing on my way back to my accommodation to enjoy this European delight. After discovering the trdlnk (called in Czech Republic) I searched for it every time I visited an Eastern European country.

I knew I wanted to bring this amazingness to the United States. I started my search and found a manufacturer of the special baker. I traveled to Slovenia to learn how to make kurtoskalacs (called in Hungary) and I am very excited to bring you a little slice of Europe.
